No último dia 02, Jerry Seinfeld recebeu um Clio Award honorário. Trata-se de um dos prêmios mais prestigiosos do mundo da publicidade e seu discurso começou assim:

“Amo publicidade porque amo mentiras. (…) Acho que passar sua vida tentando tapear pessoas inocentes e fazê-las gastar seu suado dinheiro para comprar itens e serviços inúteis, de baixa qualidade e mal representados é um excelente uso da sua energia.”

Se ele soubesse que hoje tem eleições aqui no Brasil, poderia facilmente adaptar o discurso para nossa “festa da democracia”.
