O novo MySpace corre atrás do BandPage

Um dos aplicativos mais utilizados no Facebook, o BandPage se tornou o principal meio para artistas divulgarem suas músicas na rede social. Com o sucesso alcançado, extrapolaram o jardim cercado e criaram um serviço para bandas atualizarem todas suas redes de um único lugar.

Literalmente parado no tempo desde sua última atualização, anos atrás, o MySpace perdeu espaço como principal comunidade online para músicos não apenas para o BandPage, como também para o Soundcloud.

Na esperança de retomar sua importância, está sendo lançado o New MySpace, mais uma tentativa da rede de se reinventar. Além de um interface que finalmente chegou a segunda década do século XXI, o novo MySpace também busca retomar sua proposta inicial, ser um espaço não apenas para bandas e servir de plataforma para fotógrafos, cineastas, designers e fãs.

Deve ser a última cartada do MySpace. Mesmo com a base de usuários gigantesca que possui, dificilmente alguém dará atenção depois disso.

Com um timbre de voz longe dos agudos que vem vitimando as novas candidatas a divas brasileiras e com divisões de frase fora do padrão (ouça “Filha da Ira”), Ava Rocha faz MPB um tantinho mais sombria que o habitual.

Tem tudo para, em pouco tempo, parar de ter o nome do pai, o cineasta Glauber Rocha, citado toda vez que falarem de sua música.
